The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering integrates life, engineering, technology, and management for the enhancement and design of systems involving agriculture, food, energy, water, and the environment. Through our two undergraduate majors, Agricultural and Biological Engineering and Technical Systems Management, our students find careers in academia, consulting firms, Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, non-profit groups, and research institutions with average starting salaries of $61,000 and $50,000, respectively. Our students grow professionally with participation in study abroad programs, student organizations, undergraduate research, leadership experiences, internship opportunities, and undergraduate minors.
